Flora Cooperative is a proud member of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). Our worker-collaborator painters are union trained apprentices and journerypersons who have dedicated themselves to the painting and allied trades. Unions and cooperatives are both dedicated to high quality goods and services that fulfill community needs, and benefit the larger economy through economic democracy, living wages, benefits and skills training. Flora Cooperative is committed to the growth and development of union cooperatives.

Flora Cooperative is a proud member of the Wallcovering Installers Association. Formerly the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers (NGPP), the Wallcovering Installers Association (WIA) is the only trade association dedicated exclusively to the interests and needs of wallpaper installation professionals who maintain high standards and a commitment to quality work.
Our in-house union graphics and digital print lab can provide designers, architects and general contractors with immediate access to custom wall coverings, murals, signage, decals, logo installation, and customized wallpaper.

A worker-owned cooperative is a social enterprise which is owned and directly managed by the workers themselves. Worker-owned cooperatives like Flora are dedicated to internal democracy, and a workplace wherein the fruits of our collective labor are realized. The seven cooperative principles here goes into more depth on the rich history of cooperatives.
